Our State Competition for 2026 will be held on April 16th-19th at El Porvenir Camp in Montezuma, NM.
Below are 3 steps to complete your registration, depending on your status as an advisor, volunteer, or student.

The Camp at El Porvenir is requesting that all participants (students, advisors/coaches, and volunteers) submit their camp release form.

In this training, we’ll train staff on the warning signs of child sexual abuse and how they can prevent this from happening at their camp. We’ll focus on the importance of immediately reporting these warning signs and rule-breaking. You’ll hear from camp staff on how to apply this guidance at your camp.

Required for all advisors and volunteers
Peer-to-peer abuse happens at camp. In this training, we’ll train staff on the elements of peer-to-peer abuse and how to prevent this from happening at their camp. And if it does happen, we’ll review the appropriate way to respond. You’ll hear from camp staff on how to apply this guidance at your camp.

We’re excited to announce that the 2026 NM Envirothon Competition will be held at El Porvenir Camp in Montezuma, NM. This is our first time returning to this beautiful area and facility, making it a unique opportunity for teams to experience a new setting.
Competition Dates:
April 16-19, 2026,
With early arrival available on Thursday, April 16th.
Registration Fees:
Team Registration: $150 per team
Food and Lodging:
$135 per person for two nights (Friday morning arrival) and six meals
$175 per person for three nights (Thursday afternoon/evening arrival) and seven meals
We look forward to welcoming teams to explore this year’s theme,
“Non-Point Source Pollution,” in a new and engaging environment.

The winning team from the April state competition will proudly represent New Mexico at the NCF-Envirothon competition, taking place at Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi, from July 19 to 25, 2026!
Donations to NM Envirothon directly support the travel for the winning team, their coach, and other volunteers, ensuring they have an unforgettable experience on the national stage.
