We’re excited to announce that the 2025 NM Envirothon Competition will be held at Kamp Kiwanis in Vanderwagen, NM, south of Gallup. This is our first time visiting this beautiful area and facility, making it a unique opportunity for teams to experience a new setting.
Competition Dates:
April 11-13, 2025,
with early arrival available on Thursday, April 10th.
Registration Fees:
Team Registration: $150 per team
Food and Lodging:
$135 per person for two nights (Friday morning arrival) and six meals
$175 per person for three nights (Thursday afternoon/evening arrival) and seven meals
We look forward to welcoming teams to explore this year’s theme,
“Roots and Resiliency: Fostering Forest Stewardship in a Canopy of Change,” in a new and engaging environment.

The winning team from the April state competition will proudly represent New Mexico at the NC-Envirothon competition, taking place at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, from July 20 to 26, 2025!
This exciting opportunity allows our champions to showcase their knowledge and skills while exploring forest stewardship in a new context.
Donations to NM Envirothon directly support the travel for the winning team, their coach, and other volunteers, ensuring they have an unforgettable experience on the national stage.
Join us for our 18th Annual State Competition taking place at Camp Kiwanis in Vanderwagen, NM.
From the north, go to Gallup, NM on Interstate 40, then travel south on NM Hwy 602 for approximately 18 miles to Cousins Road. Look for the sign, “Kamp Kiwanis” on the highway. Travel west on Cousins Rd. 200 yards until you see the entrance on the north side. From Grants and Zuni, take NM Hwy 53 until you reach NM Hwy 602. Turn north about 11 miles to Cousins Road.
